The CAR1390 is a triple-door upright storage refrigerator for kitchens that move serious volume. Three hinged solid doors front a 1390-litre gross cabinet with 1005 litres of net storage across nine shelves, giving a large, organised cold store for bulk ingredients and prepped stock. Solid doors hold temperature better than glass under heavy in-and-out use, making it a back-of-house workhorse rather than a display unit.
It holds -2 to +8 °C, a cold band that suits fresh and prepped chilled stock. Defrost runs automatically on the off cycle, so there is no manual defrost to manage, and nine shelves let you organise stock by section or date. The cabinet draws 400 W and, on its verified 2317.8 kWh a year, costs about £579 a year at 25p/kWh, carrying energy class C.
External dimensions are 1800 × 745 × 1950 mm (W×D×H), so check ceiling height and doorway width before delivery; packed it ships at 1840 × 774 × 2030 mm. It runs from a standard 13-amp supply at 220-240 V and uses R290 refrigerant with a 150 g charge. Net weight is 180 kg, so plan positioning and floor access, and the stainless steel exterior and interior wipe down for hygiene.
