Why this single door upright fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD UR600X1 is a full-height single-door upright refrigerator for high-volume chilled storage in the back of house. Behind one hinged solid door it holds 620 litres gross and 570 litres net across four white wire shelves, giving a working kitchen the vertical cold storage to keep a full day's stock off the floor and in order.
It runs a chilled band of -2 to +8 °C under electronic control, with automatic off-cycle defrost that keeps the interior clear without manual intervention. At a rated 45 dB it is quiet for a full-size cabinet, and at energy class A it is efficient for its capacity: 288.4 kWh a year, about £72 a year at 25p/kWh, from a 95 W system. Climate class 4 suits a warm kitchen.
The cabinet has an SS430 stainless steel exterior and a white interior lining, standing 777 × 745 × 1895 mm (W×D×H) and weighing 90 kg net. It runs from a standard 13 A supply at 220-240 V, 50 Hz and uses R600a refrigerant with a 70 g charge. Packed for delivery it measures 840 × 765 × 2100 mm — check doorway heights and the delivery route, as it is over two metres tall boxed.
