Why this single door upright fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD UR600W1 is a full-height single-door upright refrigerator that carries the day's chilled working stock in one tall cabinet. It gives you 570 litres of usable storage (620 litres gross) on four white wire shelves behind a solid hinged door, holding a -2 to +8 °C band for proteins, dairy and prepped ingredients. The white exterior and interior wipe down cleanly and suit a back-of-house or prep-room position.
Running it is low-effort: an electronic controller holds the setpoint and defrost is automatic on the off cycle, so there is no manual routine. It is rated climate class 4 and runs at 45 dB, with an A energy class and 288.4 kWh a year of consumption — about £72 at 25p/kWh — from just 95 W input power, which keeps it economical to run around the clock.
The cabinet measures 777 × 745 × 1895 mm externally and weighs 100 kg net, so its height and width both matter on the delivery route; packed it stands 840 × 765 × 2100 mm, worth checking against doorway height before it arrives.
