Why this upright fridge earns its place
The PG020 is Polar's G-Series single-door upright fridge in a black finish — a step up from the C-Series in both style and specification, designed to sit in customer-facing areas as comfortably as back-of-house. The stylish black exterior blends into front-of-house environments where a standard white or steel cabinet would stand out, without compromising on daily commercial performance.
Four adjustable shelves hold 397 litres of net storage, with a working temperature range of -2°C to +8°C giving genuine flexibility across chilled and near-frozen storage needs. It draws 353W on a 220-240V supply, rated Energy Class C at 580.4kWh a year with an EEI of 46.0%, and carries a climate class 4 rating. Cooling is static rather than fan-assisted, and refrigerant is R600a.
Build quality is strong steel construction finished for easy cleaning, with a digital temperature controller and LED display for precise, at-a-glance monitoring. The door is self-closing and lockable — improving energy efficiency by minimising heat gain and giving stock security at the same time — and the whole unit sits on lockable castors for mobility when repositioning is needed. 2/1 GN tray compatibility runs throughout the cabinet, at 145kg gross weight, with a 2-year parts and labour warranty.
