The KGW80CDRU is a single glass-door upright commercial refrigerator from Hoshizaki's Premier range, built around the 2/1 gastronorm footprint so pans, trays and prepped stock drop straight in without decanting. At 810 mm wide and 800 mm deep, the wide cabinet consolidates a service kitchen's chilled holding into one glass-fronted unit with 475 litres across four shelves.
The glass door lets staff read stock levels without opening the cabinet and letting warm air in, which suits a busy pass or a display position where quick visual checks matter — fewer door openings help the interior hold temperature through service. Interior shelving carries standard gastronorm containers, so it slots into an existing prep and plating workflow at +2 to +12 °C. Despite the glass door, the KGW80CDRU achieves B-class energy efficiency: around 439 kWh per year (1.2 kWh per day), which is competitive for a display unit.
