Why this single door upright fridge earns its place
The Blizzard HW60 is the larger sibling to the HW40, giving kitchens a full 533 litres of gross volume in the same practical single-door upright format. At 775 x 750 x 1850mm, it suits restaurants, pubs and catering operations that need genuine bulk chilled storage without stepping up to a double-door cabinet.
Ventilated cooling and a Dixell digital controller manage the cabinet's temperature, with automatic defrost keeping performance consistent without staff intervention. It runs at Energy Class C, consuming 160 kWh a year, and connects to a standard 13A supply, keeping installation simple.
The cabinet is built with a white laminated exterior and a white aluminium interior — a more durable finish than the HW40's ABS lining, suited to the larger unit's higher throughput. It runs on R290 refrigerant and is rated to climate class 4 for standard commercial kitchen conditions. Four adjustable shelves organise the interior, and the reversible door comes with a lock fitted as standard and an integrated full-height handle, with a replaceable gasket for long-term seal performance.
