Why this upright fridge earns its place
The T863 is Williams' Jade HJ2-SA, a double-door upright fridge Williams designed specifically for effective operation in 43°C ambient environments — the robust, energy-conscious cabinet has proven itself against the day-to-day rigours of the most stressful kitchens. It's the two-door step up in the Jade range, holding 1021 litres net for kitchens that have outgrown a single-door fridge.
It holds +1 to +4°C and is rated Energy Class B at 755.5 kWh/year, with an EEI of 33.04% and a climate class 5 rating that keeps it running efficiently up to that 43°C ambient ceiling. Cooling is via an air-cooled condensing unit, and the cabinet is fitted with 8 shelves suited to 2/1 GN pans, giving structured chilled storage across both doors rather than one shared cavity.
Build is foodsafe, easy-clean stainless steel exterior with an aluminium interior, radiused interior corners, and a full-length integral 'easy grab' door handle on each door. Both doors are self-closing and barrel-locked with magnetic balloon gaskets giving a 100% tight seal, backed by 80mm precision-injected high-density polyurethane insulation with low GWP and zero ODP. R290 refrigerant runs the system, controlled through Williams' capacitive touch CoolSmart controller with an easy-wipe, IP55-rated display. It carries a 2-year parts and labour warranty and weighs 164kg gross.
