Why this product earns its place
The Polar U-Series UA042 double door display fridge scales the same energy-saving engineering as the single-door UA040 up to high-volume kitchens and retail counters. Twin double-glazed glass doors put the full 1400-litre-class cabinet on display, letting staff and customers see stock without opening either door.
Net capacity runs to 980 litres across six adjustable shelves, with the interior accepting 1/1 or 2/1 gastronorm pans directly. Forced air cooling holds -2 to +8°C evenly across a much larger cabinet volume than a single-door unit, and Climate Class 5 rating means it keeps performing in kitchens up to 40°C ambient. Energy Class B consumption sits at 766.5kWh a year (EEI 33.7%) — efficient given the scale of storage on offer.
