Why this upright fridge earns its place
The Polar C-Series CZ781 is the white coated-steel C-Series double-door upright fridge, aimed at less demanding back-of-house areas that still need a full commercial storage cabinet. Its supplier-stated 744 litre capacity and 518 litre net volume give kitchens one broad chilled store for prepped ingredients, bulk deliveries and service stock.
Eight sturdy adjustable shelves let staff configure the space around tubs, produce boxes and mise en place. Forced-air cooling is specified to maintain the +2 to +8 °C band throughout the cabinet and bring temperature back down after the door has been opened; the manufacturer also lists automatic defrost, an easy-clean ABS interior, lockable hinged double doors, full-length handles, 60 mm insulation and rear rollers.
At 1215 mm wide, 585 mm deep and 1853 mm high, this is a full-height freestanding upright, so check the run-in, final position and airflow before delivery. The fridge is rated for 220-240V with a 390 W input, R290 refrigerant with GWP 3, D energy class, 748 kWh/year and a 114 kg gross weight.
