Why this counter fridge earns its place
The Polar U-Series UA103 is a drawer fridge counter for chilled prep storage on the main kitchen line. Its format combines four gastronorm-compatible drawers with one hinged-door compartment, so ingredients can be divided by station or task without sending staff back to an upright fridge.
Forced-air cooling holds the cabinet within a -2 to +8 °C temperature range, with climate class 5 performance stated for demanding ambient conditions. The stainless steel body and worktop suit everyday kitchen use, while the digital controls, easy-clean surfaces and castors described by Polar keep the unit practical to monitor, clean and position.
At 1795mm wide, 700mm deep and 860mm high, UA103 is built as working-height refrigeration rather than a separate storage cabinet. It gives 194 litres net volume, one shelf in the door section, 465 litres listed capacity, 2/1 GN double compatibility, 300 W rated input and a B energy class with 639 kWh/year consumption.
