Why this counter fridge earns its place
The Foster FlexDrawer FFC4-2 35-205 FD334 is a two-drawer refrigerated counter measuring 900 mm wide, 775 mm deep and 700 mm high, holding 48 litres of chilled stock for back-of-house storage. Instead of a hinged door it holds chilled stock in drawers under the prep top, so a section keeps its ingredients directly beneath the board it works from.
In service the drawers bring stock forward to the cook and open only the space needed, which keeps portions ordered and limits the cold-air spill of a swung door during a busy period. The 125 kg unit is built to drop into a bench line and brings with it Energy Class C running costs at 1.95 kWh per day on average. The cook restocks from the walk-in at changeover and works out of the drawers through service.
As a counter unit it is built to drop into a bench line, so plan the aperture and leave front clearance for the drawers to pull out fully. It uses environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant and carries a 2-year warranty. For siting, doorway access or a servicing quote, the Craven Cooling team can talk it through before you order.
