Why this counter fridges/freezer earns its place
The Foster FlexDrawer GM840 is a one-drawer counter fridge/freezer for kitchens that need flexible holding right on the prep line. At the touch of a button it can work as chilled or frozen storage, covering a listed -21°C to +4°C temperature range so the same footprint can support changing menus, prep patterns or service stock.
The drawer is listed at 76Ltr and is designed to accommodate three full-size 1/1 GN containers up to 159mm deep. That makes it useful for mise en place, service backups or compact frozen stock without sending chefs back to a separate upright cabinet. The drawer is also removable to help cleaning, while the 1100mm wide, 700mm deep and 600mm high counter format gives a usable stainless steel top surface for selected countertop equipment.
Stainless steel inside and out gives the GM840 a practical commercial finish, backed by 50mm insulation, fan-assisted cooling and R290 refrigerant with GWP 3. Energy use is listed at 3.29 kWh/24h, with energy class C and 1203 kWh/year consumption stated in the supplier specification.
