Why this under counter fridge earns its place
The CW732-SE is an undercounter drawer fridge from Foster, designed to sit within a run of counters and bring 73 litres net chilled capacity into the working line across three sliding drawers. Drawer-format refrigeration keeps ingredients organised and accessible during prep and service without the fumble and heat-loss of a full-height door. Running at +3 to +5°C, it holds prep and par-stock ready to hand.
Drawers let staff reach stock quickly and close it away again, limiting how long cold air escapes during a busy period. The compact 830 x 605 x 640mm external size fits tight behind most counters, and the 79kg gross weight is manageable to plan into a prep run before delivery. Stainless steel outside, aluminium inside and 50mm insulation give it the back-of-house build a busy line needs, with fan-assisted cooling and R600a refrigerant handling the cold work.
As an undercounter unit it is sized to fit beneath a worktop within a counter run, and it is energy-rated A-class with 0.678 kWh per 24 hours and 247 kWh/year listed. Rated input is 210W from a 230V supply, so confirm the socket position as well as the aperture before installing. Leave clearance for airflow and keep the slides clean, and the drawer format gives the station chilled access without sacrificing upright floor space.
