Why this drawer fridge earns its place
The Combisteel Refrigerator SS 3 Drawers is a stainless steel chilled prep counter holding 101 litres across three separate drawers. Instead of bending into a cabinet, staff pull a drawer out and see everything in it, which speeds up prep and service and cuts the time the cold is left open. It stands 810 mm tall (worktop height) and 600 mm wide, built to drop into a kitchen run. Its stainless steel 430 construction stands up to working kitchens and wipes down between shifts.
Three drawers let you zone chilled stock — proteins in one, prep in another, garnish and sundries in a third — so the section stays organised through a rush. The unit holds chilled temperatures between +2 and +8 °C, maintained by 58 mm of insulation and a ventilated cooling system with a digital temperature display. At 40 dB(A) it runs quietly enough for front-of-house. The steel is finished and weighted at 59 kg — stable on a kitchen floor.
Plan where it sits before it arrives. A drawer unit works hardest built into a kitchen run or stood where staff can reach it without crossing the kitchen. Measure the gap (600 mm wide, 605 mm deep, 810 mm tall) against your available space and electrical supply. Craven Cooling can advise on siting and how to work it into an existing counter line.
