Why this counter fridge earns its place
The Polar U-Series UA048 triple door counter fridge extends the same worktop-and-storage format further, with three doors giving faster, more organised access across a bigger 417-litre-class cabinet. It's aimed at kitchens running enough volume that a single or double door counter isn't quite enough.
Usable capacity is 291 litres spread across six adjustable shelves, and the interior takes 1/1 gastronorm pans directly, so trays move straight between the counter and a blast chiller, combi oven or freezer. Forced air cooling holds -2 to +8°C evenly and recovers quickly even when doors are opened frequently through service, which matters more on a triple door unit than a smaller counter.
Stainless steel construction runs throughout for durability and easy cleaning, refrigerant is R600a, and the unit draws 300W. Automatic defrost, self-closing doors and an accurate digital controller with constant display round out the working spec, and the whole unit sits on built-in castors.
