Why this four door counter fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD PH40 is a four-door refrigerated counter built for the prep line, putting 560 litres of gross storage (450 litres usable) under a continuous stainless steel worktop 2230 mm wide. Four hinged solid doors and four internal shelves keep mise en place chilled at hand height, directly beneath the surface where the kitchen works. As a Gastronorm counter it is sized to take standard kitchen containers under the pass.
Fan-assisted cooling holds the cabinet between -2 and +8 °C, with automatic off-cycle defrost clearing the coil without shutting the section down. Rated to climate class 4, it keeps temperature in a warm working kitchen and operates at 65 dB. Stainless steel inside and out wipes down between services and stands up to daily commercial cleaning.
The counter measures 2230 × 700 × 840 mm externally and weighs 273 kg, so plan the run and the floor before delivery; at 700 mm deep it passes through a standard doorway, though its width and weight need a proper lift and route. It draws 400 W from a standard 13-amp supply at 220-240 V and is charged with 130 g of R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant.
