Why this counter fridge earns its place
The Polar U-Series UA068 is a double-door counter fridge for chilled storage at working height. Its glass doors and energy-efficient LED lighting help staff identify stock quickly without opening the cabinet, while the listed 314-litre capacity suits a compact counter run.
Hinged doors, two adjustable shelves and forced-air cooling give a straightforward layout for service stock, prep ingredients, bottled drinks and packaged chilled items. Polar describes rapid temperature recovery and consistent chill through frequent door openings, supported by automatic defrost, self-closing doors and easy-to-remove door seals.
The UA068 runs at +2 to +8 °C, uses R600a refrigerant and carries climate class 4. At 1360mm wide, 700mm deep and 860mm high, it gives visible under-counter refrigeration with a 300 W rated input, B energy class and 465 kWh/year listed consumption.
