Why this double door counter fridge earns its place
This refrigerated counter is the two-door Combisteel 700 model: a back-of-house prep station with chilled storage under a continuous worktop. Its 1400 mm width gives a practical line-side surface without taking the space of a longer three- or four-door run, while the 281 litre gross volume gives room for section stock, prepped ingredients and service backup.
The two doors give separate access points beneath the worktop, so the cabinet can be organised by station, menu section or stock type. Ventilated R290 cooling holds the cabinet in the -2 to +8 °C chilled range, managed by a digital controller, and automatic defrost reduces routine intervention. With 50 mm insulation and a 43 °C maximum ambient rating, it is specified for proper commercial kitchen conditions.
The stainless steel AISI 304 body is built for daily wipe-downs, and the 40 dB(A) noise figure is low enough for a counter that sits close to the working line. It measures 1400 mm wide, 700 mm deep and 850 mm high, with a 145 kg gross weight, so plan the route in and leave clearance for door swing, airflow and service access. The electrical supply is listed as 230 V, 50 Hz; confirm the final connection with your fitter.
