Why this double door counter fridge earns its place
The Blizzard HBC802 is a two-door counter refrigerator built to an 800mm depth rather than the standard 600-700mm, giving it enough room to take Euronorm trays as well as GN1/1 pans. At 1510 x 800 x 850mm (W×D×H), it's a compact two-door footprint for kitchens that don't need the four-door HBC4NU/HBC4SL's full run but still want deep counter storage rather than a shallow prep fridge.
It holds a temperature range of -2 to +8°C across 390 litres gross, split over two doors with two adjustable shelves. Cooling is ventilated with a ducted air system for even distribution, and the unit draws 215 kWh a year on a standard 13-amp supply — a genuinely low running cost for an 800mm-deep double-door cabinet. Automatic defrost removes the need for manual ice clearing.
Stainless steel exterior and interior, self-closing doors with a dwell position for loading, and replaceable door gaskets are built in as standard, alongside a digital temperature controller. Internal corners are rounded for cleaning, and the unit moves on lockable heavy duty castors. It runs on R290 refrigerant, is climate class 4 rated, holds noise to 42dB, and weighs 124kg gross.
