Why this upright freezer earns its place
The Williams Jade LJ500U-SS is an undermount freezer built to extend the Jade cabinet range with a larger line-side frozen storage option. It is for kitchens that want service stock close to the bench, rather than sending staff back to the walk-in or bulk freezer for every portion.
Capacity is the strong point here: 439 litres net, with three shelves sized for 2/1 GN. That gives a bigger frozen reserve than a small counter base, while the single-door layout keeps it straightforward for batch stock, frozen prep, desserts, fries or labelled service backups.
The freezer holds a -18 to -22 °C operating range, with air cooling, climate class 4 performance and R290 refrigerant with GWP 3. The stainless steel cabinet is a commercial back-of-house build, running from a 230V supply with a 385 W rated input.
