Why this single door commercial upright freezer earns its place
The GUF70 is a single-door upright freezer built for professional kitchens that need dependable frozen storage in a standard cabinet footprint. Stainless steel inside and out, it holds 565 litres gross and 528 litres net across three wire shelves, taking gastronorm stock without wasting height. The hinged self-closing solid door keeps the cabinet sealed through a busy service and returns the seal without staff having to think about it.
It holds a frozen band of -24 to -18 °C under electronic control, with ventilated cooling circulating air across the load for even temperatures front to back. Rated to climate class 4, it is built to hold temperature in warm back-of-house conditions, and it runs at 45 dB. On energy class D at 2127.9 kWh a year, running cost works out at about £532 a year at 25p/kWh.
External dimensions are 680 × 845 × 2000 mm, so at 680 mm wide the cabinet clears most standard doorways; packed it measures 720 × 870 × 2050 mm, worth checking against the full delivery route. It weighs 120 kg net, runs from a standard 13 A supply on 220-240 V, 50 Hz, and uses 90 g of R290 refrigerant.
