Why this double door commercial upright freezer earns its place
The RF1420C is a double-door upright freezer built for back-of-house bulk frozen storage. It holds 954 litres net (1300 litres gross) across six grey wire shelves behind two hinged, self-closing solid doors. The cabinet is 304 stainless steel inside and out, so it wipes down for high-turnover kitchens where hygiene gets audited.
In use it runs a frozen band of -22 to -18 °C, held by ventilated cooling for even temperature across the shelves and managed by an electronic controller. Defrost is automatic and electric, so there is no manual routine to schedule. It is rated at 49 dB and carries a climate class 5 rating. On energy class C at 3007.6 kWh a year, expect about £752 a year at 25p/kWh.
The cabinet measures 1420 × 875 × 2090 mm (W×D×H) and ships packed at 1445 × 905 × 2150 mm, so plan a wide access route and check doorway clearances before delivery. Gross weight is 234 kg. It runs on a 220-240 V/50 Hz supply and uses natural R290 refrigerant with a 150 g charge.
