Why this double door commercial upright freezer earns its place
The CAF900 is a two-door upright freezer for bulk frozen storage back of house. It gives you 900 litres gross and 660 litres net across six shelves, with a stainless steel exterior and interior for hard daily use. The two hinged solid doors keep frozen deliveries organised and off the working line.
In service it holds -22 to -17 °C and carries a climate class 4 rating, so it maintains temperature in warm, busy kitchens. It runs on R290 refrigerant with automatic electric defrost. It is rated energy class D and consumes 3347.1 kWh a year — about £837 a year at 25p/kWh — so it is worth siting away from heat sources to keep the compressor working efficiently.
The cabinet measures 1200 × 745 × 1950 mm and ships packed at 1240 × 774 × 2030 mm, so check your doorway and lift route before delivery — gross weight is 145 kg. It connects to a standard 13A supply at 220-240V 50Hz, drawing 750W, with a 150 g charge of R290.
