Why this upright freezer earns its place
The Polar C-Series CZ784 is the stainless steel version of Polar's C-Series double-door upright freezer, built for less demanding back-of-house areas that still need a proper volume of frozen storage. The cabinet gives a supplier-stated 744 litre capacity, with 518 litres of net volume, across eight sturdy adjustable shelves, so frozen ingredients, batch-prep and boxed stock can be separated instead of stacked into one hard-to-work pile.
Forced-air cooling is specified to maintain the -25 to -10 °C temperature band throughout the cabinet and recover quickly after door openings. The manufacturer also notes built-in heated defrost, an easy-clean ABS interior, lockable hinged double doors, full-length handles, 60 mm insulation and rear rollers to help with positioning.
At 1215 mm wide, 585 mm deep and 1853 mm high, it is a substantial freestanding upright, with a 124 kg gross weight to plan for at delivery. The 220-240V supply, 650 W rated input, R290 refrigerant with GWP 3, D energy class and 2577 kWh/year figure are all worth checking against your site and expected running hours before install.
