Why this stainless lid chest freezer earns its place
The LHF460SS is a chest freezer built for bulk frozen storage in a commercial kitchen or back-of-house store. It holds 416 litres gross and 361 litres of usable net volume, top-opening so you load and dig into stacked stock from above. For a butcher, caterer or restaurant it gives a deep frozen reserve for meat, bulk ingredients and prepped batches without giving up upright fridge space.
Day to day it runs at -23 to -16 °C on a mechanical thermostat, with a manual defrost cycle to clear ice build-up. Drawing 127 W and rated energy class C with an EEI of 29.8, it uses 584 kWh a year — about £146 a year at 25p/kWh. The cabinet is white with a stainless-steel lid and a white interior, so it wipes down easily.
Build-wise it measures 1186 × 536 × 696 mm internally and ships packed at 1345 × 760 × 940 mm, weighing 64 kg net (68 kg gross). Check that packed width against your delivery route and doorways before it arrives. It runs from a standard 13A supply and is charged with eco-friendly R600a refrigerant (85 g), so no special power provision is needed.
