Why this stainless lid chest freezer earns its place
The 7151.1100 is a commercial chest freezer topped with a stainless steel lid, holding 202 litres of frozen stock in a compact 765 × 743 × 840 mm footprint. It is the format you reach for when you need to hold bulk frozen stock in one place — proteins, frozen veg, ice, batch-prepped and portioned product — in a single top-opening cabinet rather than a bank of drawers. At 39 kg, it's lighter than larger models, making it manageable to site or relocate, and the chest layout is efficient with space while holding its cold well every time the lid is opened.
In daily service, a top-opening chest keeps cold air where it belongs. Cold air sinks, so opening the lid loses far less than swinging a tall door, which suits stock you dip into through the day. The stainless steel lid is the working surface that takes the knocks and the cleaning — it wipes down, stands up to a busy back-of-house and looks the part in a food-prep or retail setting rather than a painted top that scuffs. Running at -18 to -24°C, it holds a true freezer temperature with the 60 mm insulation and lockable design.
It is a freestanding, self-contained unit that runs from a standard 230V mains socket, so it goes wherever there is room and power — a kitchen, a store room, a cellar or a farm-shop back area. An LED interior light helps you locate stock quickly in lower-light spaces. Craven Cooling can service and support it once it is in place.
