Why this walk-in fridge earns its place
The CRPF1518 is a walk-in chiller room for back-of-house cold storage that a single upright cabinet can't cover. Its internal footprint of 1340 × 1640 × 2040 mm (W×D×H) gives floor-standing room for stock on crates, racks and trolleys, with a wider 700 × 1845 mm door aperture for easier loading. It holds a chilled band of 0 to +8 °C, suitable for storing prepped and raw product across the working day.
Temperature is held by an electronic controller, and defrost is automatic hot gas, so the evaporator clears without manual intervention. Cooling runs on R290 refrigerant with a 130 g charge, and the unit is rated at 60 dB in operation. Input power is 830 W; on a verified 6545 kWh a year that works out to about £1636 a year at 25p/kWh, worth building into the site's energy planning.
The room is finished in white inside and out and weighs 284 kg net, 304 kg gross. It takes a 220–240 V / 50 Hz supply. Plan delivery and siting around the room's weight and the 700 × 1845 mm door opening for moving stock in and out.
