Why this walk-in fridge earns its place
The CRPF1215 is a walk-in chiller room for kitchens and back-of-house operations that have outgrown upright fridges and need bulk chilled storage in one temperature-controlled space. It gives an internal working footprint of 1040 × 1340 × 2040 mm (W×D×H) behind a single hinged solid door measuring 580 mm wide and 1845 mm tall, with white panels inside and out for a clean, wipe-down finish.
Day to day it holds a chilled band of 0 to +8 °C under an electronic controller, with automatic hot-gas defrost clearing the evaporator without a manual shutdown. Refrigeration runs on R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant with a 130 g charge, and the unit is rated at 60 dB in operation. It draws 830 W on a 220-240 V / 50 Hz supply, and on published figures uses 6545 kWh a year — about £1636 a year at 25p/kWh.
For siting, plan around the 580 mm door aperture and the room's 1040 × 1340 mm internal floor. The unit weighs 250 kg net and 280 kg gross, so factor delivery access and positioning into your install. The chilled cabinet is a floor-standing walk-in, not a plug-in upright, so allow space around it for airflow and service access.
