Why this fridge room earns its place
The DS480-CBN is a Polar U-Series integral walk-in cold room finished in brown, built for sites that need proper chilled bulk storage in a compact footprint. At 1200 x 1500 mm and 2200 mm high, it gives 2843 litres of gross volume for deliveries, prepped ingredients and back-of-house stock that would swamp a run of upright fridges.
The room is specified with internal dimensions of 2037 x 980 x 1280 mm, fan-assisted cooling and a +2 to +5 °C operating range. Its galvanised steel, aluminium and plastic construction uses 80 mm insulation, and the hinged door is listed as keyed, useful where chilled stock needs controlled access.
Because the cooling pack is integral, there is no remote condenser to site elsewhere. The manufacturer states the room is designed to work in 43°C conditions and includes an internal light and 13 amp plug.
