Why this walk-in freezer earns its place
The Tefcold CRNF2424 is a walk-in freezer room built for kitchens and food businesses that have outgrown upright freezers and need to hold pallet-scale frozen stock in one controlled space. With a 2160 × 2160 × 1960 mm internal footprint, it gives you a room you can walk into and shelve out, rather than a bank of cabinets to manage door by door. It arrives as a modular kit with the motor unit, panels and shelving to assemble on site.
Day to day it holds frozen product across a -20 to -10 °C band under an electronic controller, so temperatures stay set-and-forget rather than dialled by hand. Defrost is automatic and hot-gas, clearing the evaporator on its own cycle without a manual shutdown. The condensing unit runs on R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant with a 200 g charge, and sits at a measured 60 dB in use.
The room draws a 13 A supply on 220-240 V / 50 Hz with a 1,394.73 W input, so it fits a standard commercial single-phase circuit. Access is through one hinged solid door measuring 700 mm wide by 1,765 mm high — worth checking against your delivery and installation route, since the assembled room weighs 785 kg gross. Both the internal and external finish are white throughout.
