Why this walk-in freezer earns its place
The TEFCOLD CRNF2124 is a walk-in freezer room that turns floor space into bulk frozen storage. It holds an internal temperature of -20 to -10 °C across 1860 × 2160 × 1960 mm (W × D × H), giving a working freezer big enough to store pallets, trolleys and stacked stock that would otherwise fill a bank of upright freezers. The white internal and external finish wipes down easily and suits a back-of-house or production environment.
Day to day, an electronic controller holds the set temperature and an automatic hot-gas defrost clears the evaporator without you having to shut the room down and empty it. The room runs at 60 dB and draws 1394.73 W of input power, working out to roughly £2694 a year in electricity at 25p/kWh. The single hinged solid door, 700 mm wide and 1765 mm high, gives a clear entry for trolleys and full trays.
The refrigeration uses R290 with a 200 g charge, a low-GWP hydrocarbon refrigerant. The room needs a 13 A supply on 220-240 V/50 Hz, so it runs from a standard commercial socket rather than a three-phase feed. Gross weight is 725 kg (695 kg net); check the spec table for external footprint and delivery dimensions when you plan access and siting.
