Why this walk-in freezer earns its place
The CRNF1230 is a walk-in freezer room that gives a commercial kitchen dedicated sub-zero storage without a custom cold-room build. The internal working space is 960 × 2760 × 1960 mm (W×D×H), a walk-in bay for bulk frozen stock, and a single hinged solid door 580 mm wide by 1765 mm high takes trolleys and stacked cases. It holds -20 to -10 °C for long-term frozen holding.
Cooling is managed by an electronic controller that keeps the room in the -20 to -10 °C band, and defrost is automatic using hot gas, so ice is cleared without staff switching the room off or scraping it down. The system draws 1510 W and runs at 60 dB. At 9864 kWh a year that works out at about £2466 a year at 25p/kWh — worth factoring into where you site it and how hard it is worked.
It runs from a standard 13 A supply at 220-240 V/50 Hz, so no dedicated power spur is needed. The refrigeration uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant with a 150 g charge, and the room carries a white finish inside and out. Gross weight is 550 kg (520 kg net) and it arrives as modular panels, so plan your doorway access and delivery route — the 580 mm door leaf sets the tightest point.
