Why this walk-in freezer earns its place
The CRNF1212 is a self-contained walk-in freezer room for bulk frozen storage. Its 1200 × 1200 mm external footprint gives a 960 × 960 × 1960 mm internal space you can walk into, so frozen stock, trays and stacked cases live in one temperature-controlled room rather than spread across several chest or upright units. It holds -20 to -10 °C, the working band for frozen meat, fish and prepared batches.
Cooling runs on R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant, with a 150 g charge, and defrost is automatic hot-gas so ice is cleared without you scheduling a manual routine. An electronic controller holds the set point and the unit draws 1100 W. It is rated at 8208.8 kWh a year — about £2052 a year at 25p/kWh, before your own tariff, door traffic and ambient are counted. At 60 dB it is a plant-room noise level, so factor its siting into a working area.
The room measures 1200 × 1200 × 2200 mm externally with a single hinged solid door of 580 mm width and 1765 mm height for loading. It weighs 280 kg net (310 kg gross), runs on a 13 A, 220–240 V supply, and is finished white inside and out. Packed for delivery it is 2000 × 1350 × 2400 mm, so check the route in and any doorways against that before it arrives.
