The DS484-FGN is a Polar U-Series integral walk-in freezer room with a 1.8 × 1.5m footprint and 4,483 litres capacity, finished in green panels. It gives a commercial kitchen a single enclosed frozen space you walk into, load and pick from, taking bulk frozen stock out of packed reach-ins and chest freezers and off the kitchen floor. The interior dimensions of 2.04m wide by 1.58m deep by 1.28m high keep staff picking product from within rather than reaching into cabinet doors, with room to organise shelving zones and manage your own workflow.
Because it is a walk-in rather than a cabinet, you shelve and zone the interior to your workflow and reorganise it as your stock changes. The refrigeration is integral, built into the room and powered by a single 230V connection drawing 1.8 kW, holding frozen storage at -15 to -18°C using R449A refrigerant with fan-assist cooling. It runs as one self-contained system with nothing to plumb to a remote pack, maintaining temperature automatically and designed to operate reliably in ambient conditions up to 43°C.
The room is built from galvanised steel and aluminium panels with 80mm insulation, standing 2.2m high on a 1.8m × 1.5m footprint and assembled on site from flat packs. The modular approach means the 375 kg frame arrives flat and builds in position, keeping the constraint on doorway and corridor access rather than moving a finished cabinet. As an integral unit it installs without the separate condenser or field pipework a remote system needs.
