The Polar U-Series DS480-FGY is an integral walk-in freezer room with a 1.2 x 1.5m (external) footprint, finished in grey. It holds 2,843 litres of frozen storage and gives a kitchen, butcher or shop a proper walk-in block of organised, shelvable frozen storage — room to shelve and organise bulk product rather than stack it into cabinets.
Because it's integral, the refrigeration is built into the room and runs at -15 to -18 °C as one self-contained unit, so there's no remote pack to site and pipe in separately. The 80mm insulation and R449A cooling system are sized for consistent frozen holding. The room comes with a 2-year parts and labour warranty plus a 5-year panel guarantee. The door gives full-height access for trolleys, trays and bulk deliveries.
It's supplied as panels to assemble on a flat, level floor rated for the 350kg loaded weight, so plan the access route and doorways to get the sections in. Leave clearance around the refrigeration side for airflow and allow for a 230V electrical connection and 1800W power draw. Drainage may also need planning depending on siting.
