Why this upright wine fridge earns its place
The TFW400-2S is an upright commercial wine cooler that presents bottles on show behind a single hinged glass door. Fourteen wooden wine shelves carry 350 litres of net capacity (416 litres gross) inside a black cabinet with a black ABS interior. It is a floor-standing unit for restaurant, bar and retail positions where wine is both stored and displayed.
Cooling runs on an R600a system with automatic defrost and an electronic controller, and the cabinet runs at 40 dB, quiet enough for front-of-house. It carries a climate class 4 rating. It is energy class G and rated at 175.2 kWh a year, which works out at about £44 a year at 25p/kWh.
The cabinet measures 595 × 680 × 1760 mm (W×D×H) and ships packed at 650 × 760 × 2000 mm, so check that height against your doorways and delivery route. It runs from a standard 220-240 V, 50 Hz supply on a 13 amp connection, draws 220 W, weighs 106 kg net, and holds a 55 g charge of R600a.
