Why this under counter wine cooler earns its place
The SC85 BLACK is a compact under-counter wine cooler for chilling and presenting bottles in a small commercial space. It offers 85 litres of net capacity (92 litres gross) behind a hinged curved glass door, with a black exterior and black ABS interior for a discreet finish under a bar or counter.
In use it holds a +2 to +10 °C band, adjustable through a mechanical thermostat, with automatic defrost built in. The cabinet runs quietly at 40 dB. At energy class C and 306 kWh a year, running costs come to about £77 a year at 25p/kWh.
It measures 410 × 415 × 630 mm internally and arrives packed at 570 × 610 × 810 mm, so measure the aperture and access route before install. It weighs 33 kg net (38 kg packed), runs from a standard 13 A supply drawing 165 W at 220–240 V, and uses R600a refrigerant with a 28 g charge.
