Why this sushi display fridge earns its place
The Combisteel Sushi Display is a compact countertop refrigerated display cabinet measuring 1177 mm wide, 426 mm deep and 296 mm tall, built to hold prepared sushi, maki and other chilled ready-to-eat items where customers can see them. At 37 kg, it fits tight spaces at the pass or till point, turning a run of freshly made product into a merchandising surface rather than hidden stock in a back-of-house fridge. The 42-litre capacity holds an effective rotation of daily product, and the display keeps portions on show while they stay chilled between 0 °C and 12 °C — what drives impulse pick-up in a grab-and-go setting.
In daily use it works as a chilled serving display: prepared portions go in at the start of service and stay refrigerated on the counter through the day, in easy reach of staff and in full view of customers. The glazed front with LED interior lighting makes the product visible even in dim corners. Because it lives on the worktop rather than under it, restocking and rotation happen from the front without anyone bending into a low cabinet. That makes it suited to short-shelf-life prepared food — sushi, cold mezze, dressed salads — that needs to sell on the day it is made.
On install it is a plug-in countertop unit, so there is no plumbing or special siting beyond a stable, level stretch of worktop and a 230 V mains socket within reach. The static cooling is built in, so it can be moved to wherever the product needs to be seen without a fixed connection. Leave the manufacturer's recommended clearance around the cabinet so the condenser can breathe and the display holds temperature steadily through a busy service. The compact footprint makes it an option where counter space is limited.
