Why this display fridge earns its place
The GE961 is a serve-over counter fridge set up for fish display. Staff work from behind while customers view the catch laid out across the front deck, and orders are cut, weighed and served to order. At 255 litres it suits a fishmonger's counter, a farm shop fish bar or a wet-fish section that needs product on show and within easy reach. The counter measures 1,245mm wide, 890mm deep and 530mm high, offering substantial display frontage without taking up excessive floor space — typical for a dedicated fish bar in a market or supermarket wet-fish section.
The unit runs static cooling (natural air circulation rather than fan-assisted) and holds a wide temperature band of +2–12°C, giving you flexibility in how you run the display. Whether fish sits on ice to enhance the presentation, or directly on the surface, the cooling system suits both approaches. Built from stainless steel and white glass throughout, it is easy to clean daily and built for the demanding wet-fish environment where regular water and ice contact happen during service.
The 255-litre counter is a fixed piece of shop-floor furniture, so plan its position early. It draws 200W on standard 230–240V mains, making it economical to run during trading hours. External dimensions, counter footprint and electrical supply are shown on the live spec panel above; check the run against your floor space, delivery access and drainage (the manufacturer supplies a drain hose for melted ice). Craven Cooling can advise on siting if access is tight, and backs the unit with full servicing and parts support.
