Why this curved glass serve over fridge earns its place
The Tefcold Tavira II 100 is a slimline curved-glass serve over counter, finished in white with a stainless steel interior and a 0.6 m² display area. The slim, curved-glass front is built to hold product forward and visible for over-the-counter service, which suits a deli, patisserie or café counter where display space is tight but you still need chilled stock on show.
It holds a temperature band of +2 to +8 °C and runs automatic/off-cycle defrost, so routine defrosting is handled without staff intervention. Rated at 53 dB, it is quiet enough to sit front-of-house without intruding on the service area. The cabinet carries energy class E and draws 1492.8 kWh a year, about £373 a year in electricity at 25p/kWh, and is built to climate class 3 for normal indoor conditions.
Power is a standard 220-240V, 13A supply on a dedicated socket, so no special electrical work is required. Cooling uses R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant, with a charge of 250 grams. At 154 kg gross and 121 kg net it is a solid counter unit, so plan two-person handling and a clear route to its siting position for delivery.
