Why this multideck earns its place
The GP295 is a low-height multideck display fridge from the Polar G-Series, built for open-front merchandising of grab-and-go and impulse chilled stock. It is an open-front merchandiser — no doors — so the chilled stock is presented straight to the customer on open shelving across three tiers, a format that maximises turnover of fast-moving products. The 918 mm width keeps sightlines open across the floor and lets the unit sit tight in a till run or alongside an existing chilled line without closing off the space behind.
At +2 to +10 °C, the GP295 runs cold enough for a full range of chilled goods — beverages, pre-packed food, pastries and dairy — and holds up to 390 litres across the shelving. Because the face is open, the display does the selling: customers reach in and take, and the layout keeps the range in easy view and easy reach through a busy trading day. It uses forced-air cooling and R290 refrigerant. The unit is energy-rated at class C, consuming 2034 kWh per year and achieving an EEI of 28 %.
This is a freestanding upright cabinet (1450 × 918 × 792 mm, 137.5 kg), so site it on a firm, level floor near a mains supply and check the width against your access route before ordering. It draws 1300 W from a 220–240 V supply. The unit carries a 2-year parts-and-labour warranty from Craven Cooling. Full dimensions, capacity, temperature band, energy figures, refrigerant and warranty details are all listed in the specification table below.
