Why this glass door multideck fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD PC2500B is a large glass-door multideck fridge that merchandises chilled stock across five adjustable shelves and 5.13 m² of display area. Four hinged glass doors front a 1529-litre net cabinet (2585 litres gross), holding temperature while keeping the whole run shoppable for grab-and-go drinks, dairy, sandwiches and packaged food. The black RAL9005 finish reads as a continuous retail chiller wall.
The cabinet holds -1 to +5 °C under an electronic controller with automatic defrost, so there is no manual clear-down. It is rated to climate class 3 and runs at 65 dB. At energy class B it draws 3723 kWh a year — about £931 a year at 25p/kWh — from a 1060-watt input.
At 2560 mm wide, 740 mm deep and 2050 mm tall, and 500 kg gross, it needs a planned delivery route and lift access, so measure door heights and clearances first. Power is a 220–240 V, 50 Hz supply on a standard 13-amp socket, and cooling uses R290 refrigerant.
