Why this glass door multideck fridge earns its place
The Galaxy+ GP26FGD is a four-door glass-fronted multideck built for high-volume chilled retail. Four hinged glass doors front a 3.83 m² display area across five adjustable shelves, holding stock at eye level while the doors cut the cold loss of an open cabinet. Gross volume is 2887 litres, with 1258 litres of net usable space, finished in mirror stainless steel inside and out.
It holds a -1 to +5 °C band on natural R290 refrigerant, with automatic defrost and an electronic controller for hands-off running. The glass doors help it reach energy class B: at 2821.5 kWh a year that is about £705 a year at 25p/kWh. Rated climate class 3 for a normal shop-floor environment, it runs at 55 dB.
The cabinet measures 2580 × 750 × 2040 mm (W×D×H) and weighs 459 kg unpacked, arriving crated at 2650 × 770 × 2320 mm and 490 kg — plan the delivery route and installation access for a unit of this size and weight. At 2580 mm wide it needs a wide double opening or a clear run-in. It runs on a 220–240 V/50 Hz supply and carries a 150 g R290 charge.
