Why this minibars & hotel fridge earns its place
The TEFCOLD TD50A is a drawer-format minibar with a black exterior and white interior, built to pull out from under a counter or from within a room cabinet. The 45-litre net drawer keeps drinks chilled and to hand in a small footprint, making it a discreet in-room or service-point unit.
It holds +5 to +12 °C under electronic control, with static cooling and automatic defrost. Sound output is rated at 38 dB, near-silent for a guest room. It sits in the G energy class with an efficiency index of 136%, drawing 105.8 kWh a year — about £26 a year at 25p/kWh.
At 550 × 508 × 420 mm externally it fits under a counter or inside a cabinet, with an internal cavity of 470 × 395 × 332 mm. It runs from a 220–240 V supply at up to 13 A with a 40 W input, and cools on R600a refrigerant with a 20 g charge. Weight is 24 kg gross, 22 kg net.
