Why this under counter glass door fridge earns its place
The UR90G-SUB ZERO is a single-door under-counter display cooler built to show high-value chilled stock behind a heated glass door — as the "Sub Zero / Caviar Cooler" name suggests, it is aimed at delicate, premium items. A black exterior and black interior with three black wire shelves and 81 litres of usable space keep presentation at eye level while holding the footprint to 515 mm wide.
It runs a -8 to +6 °C band under electronic control, cold enough for chilled and lightly frozen display, with ventilated cooling to keep temperature even across the shelves and automatic defrost to clear frost without intervention. It runs on R600a with a 40 g charge, is rated climate class 4, and at 42 dB is quiet enough for a customer-facing counter. Rated energy use is 551.1 kWh a year at energy class E — about £138 a year at 25p/kWh — drawing 280 W.
Externally it measures 515 × 542 × 750 mm (W×D×H) and weighs 39.5 kg gross, so it slides under most counters and through a standard doorway without fuss. It runs from a standard 13 amp, 220-240 V supply. Gross volume is 92 litres against 81 litres net.
