Why this under counter glass door fridge earns its place
The Blizzard UCR140CR is a single hinged glass-door under-counter refrigerator built to put chilled stock on show where customers stand. The full glass door turns the cabinet into a merchandising surface, so drinks, grab-and-go items or prepped ingredients stay visible and sell themselves rather than sitting behind a solid door. Its under-counter footprint means it earns its place in the serving line, back bar or counter run without taking floor space away from the shop.
Day to day it runs quietly at a rated 53 dB, low enough to sit in a customer-facing counter without intruding on front-of-house. Defrost is automatic, so there is no manual routine to schedule and no meltwater to mop — the cabinet manages ice build-up on its own. It carries a climate class 3 rating, meaning it is tested to hold temperature in ambient conditions up to 25 °C, which suits a normal indoor or air-conditioned trading space.
The cabinet measures 598 mm wide, 613 mm deep and 819 mm high, so it slides under a standard worktop and passes through any normal doorway on delivery. At 44 kg it is a one- or two-person position rather than a specialist lift. Cooling uses R600a, a hydrocarbon refrigerant with low global-warming impact, keeping the unit in step with current environmental expectations for commercial refrigeration.
