Why this single door glass door fridge earns its place
The UR400G is an upright single-door glass merchandiser built to put chilled stock on show. Behind one hinged glass door sit four white wire shelves and 350 litres of usable space (374 litres gross), giving a 0.75 m² display face for drinks, grab-and-go food or packaged chilled lines. The white cabinet and full-height glass keep the product, not the fridge, as the thing the customer looks at.
It runs a +2 to +10 °C band suited to general chilled retail, held by an electronic controller with automatic defrost so there is no manual routine to schedule. Running noise sits at 40 dB, quiet enough for a shop floor or a customer-facing counter. Climate class 4 rates it for warm, busy retail environments, and it draws 130 W in normal running — about £193 a year at 25p/kWh.
The cabinet measures 600 × 585 × 1855 mm (W×D×H) and weighs 80 kg empty, so plan the route in — packed it stands 2050 mm tall. It plugs into a standard 13-amp socket at 220–240 V / 50 Hz, no special electrics, and uses R600a refrigerant with a 75 g charge.
