Why this single door glass door fridge earns its place
The Tefcold FSC1450 is a single-door upright glass merchandiser for putting chilled drinks and grab-and-go stock on show in a compact footprint. A single hinged glass door fronts six white wire shelves, and the white exterior and interior give 374 usable litres (438 litres gross) of merchandised space in a cabinet 680 mm wide.
It holds a +2 to +10 °C band suited to bottled drinks and packaged chilled lines, with automatic off-cycle defrost and a mechanical thermostat control. Cooling is on R600a refrigerant with an 80 g charge, and the cabinet is rated at 45 dB. At 941.7 kWh a year (energy class E, EEI 51.1%) it costs about £235 a year to run at 25p/kWh.
Externally the cabinet measures 680 × 655 × 2090 mm (W×D×H) with an internal 585 × 495 × 1515 mm, and it ships crated at 690 × 755 × 2200 mm, so check delivery access against the packed size. Allow clearance in front for the hinged door to swing. It runs from a standard 13-amp socket on a 220-240 V/50 Hz supply, draws 295 W, and weighs 102 kg net (107 kg gross).
