Why this single door glass door fridge earns its place
The Tefcold FS1280 is a compact upright single glass-door merchandiser for putting chilled stock on show. It is finished in white inside and out, with a single hinged glass door and four white wire shelves across 290 litres net (305 litres gross), keeping drinks and grab-and-go lines visible and within reach at the front of a store or counter.
It holds a chilled band of +2 to +10 °C under mechanical control, with automatic off-cycle defrost keeping the interior clear during normal running. Noise sits at a low 45 dB, suited to customer-facing areas, and it is rated climate class 4. On energy class D it draws 266 W and uses about 730 kWh a year — roughly £183 a year at 25p/kWh.
At 595 mm wide, 640 mm deep and 1635 mm high, it fits through a standard doorway, and it ships packed at 680 × 710 × 1740 mm, so measure the access route against the packed size before delivery. Internally it measures 462 × 505 × 1355 mm. Gross weight is 78 kg. It runs on a 13-amp 220–240 V supply and uses R600a refrigerant with a 70 g charge.
