Why this single door glass door fridge earns its place
The FS1220 is a single-door upright merchandiser built to put chilled stock in front of customers. Behind one hinged glass door sit three white wire shelves and 190 litres of net capacity (215 litres gross), with a white finish inside and out. At 595 mm wide it takes up little floor space, which suits it to till-point and grab-and-go positions where visible stock drives impulse purchases.
Day to day it holds a +2 to +10 °C band suited to soft drinks, waters and pre-packed chilled lines, managed by a mechanical controller with automatic off-cycle defrost so there is no manual defrost routine. It is rated climate class 4 and runs at 45 dB. On the energy label it carries class E at 693.5 kWh a year, which works out at about £173 a year at 25p/kWh.
The cabinet measures 595 × 640 × 1315 mm and ships packed at 680 × 710 × 1410 mm, so the packed width clears most standard doorways for delivery. It weighs 62 kg net (67 kg packed), draws from a standard 13-amp 220-240 V supply, and uses R600a refrigerant with a 50 g charge.
